Before designing:
Our team, comprised of both designers and project managers, researched trends and possible creative content ideas. We based our direction on consumer data and surveys then each of us brought multiple ideas to the table.

Initial ideas and concepts for a few different seasonal and trendy posts.
During design:
After internal review of all ideas, we wait for client feedback and approval. Then start designing. Here are the initial versions of some of the static social content.

Initial versions of three static social posts.
Some small changes led to shifting from static to animated, aligning more with the UX design trends and giving more focus to content in the visual. Below are the final versions.

Finalized/approved versions of the same three posts.
There was a variety of posts, static images, animations and also carousels.

An example of one of the static carousels focusing on tree growers.
The majority of social content is animated. Below are three abridged (click here for the full version) frames of one advent calendar post.

Additional Request, Sizzle Reel:
After designing and getting the social content approved, a request to summarize and highlight the year’s work came in. This required preliminary storyboarding and extensive Here are the initial versions of some of the social content.

Follow-Up

An follow-up email that says, “I just wanted to commend Troy for his great work on the quick turn RCTB highlights reel. Not only did it need to be turned at rapid speed, but it also came with piecemeal edits and incomplete piece and he just rolled with everything and packaged a great piece. We are blessed and lucky to have Troy still so integrated in all our teams.”
