Who is Troy Wilkinson?
Troy is a hard-working and light-hearted designer who loves to illustrate, design layout, create branding, make music and animate.
Inspirations include Studio Ghibli’s filmography, the latest suite of indie puzzle games, the monthly rendition of the Poetry Foundation’s cover and Japanese/Chinese tea gardens.
After graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Technical Communication, I quickly absconded to work in China as an English teacher. While there, I built a body of graphic design work helping local businesses and artists.
Cut to five years later and upon returning home to Sacramento, California, I joined FleishmanHillard as a designer and now, as the company has evolved work for a variety of clients at Omnicom Production.
I love being a ‘Swiss army knife’ capable of tackling anything that comes my way. Whether it be laying out reports, animating video, or rebranding an annual campaign, I’m always striving to create something beautiful and bespoke for each project.
Outside the Workplace

I constantly try to live in a more purposeful way that makes my community better. Outside of work I strive to get involved advocating for better walkability, higher-density design and better transit funding. I love participating in local conversations and events to make my community more vibrant and strong.
